THE GRAND NATIONAL AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MORGAN HORSE SHOW 1973 TO THE PRESENT

Before 1973 the "National" was held at Northampton, Massachusetts. other areas of the country joined in with their own "Nationals" until there were six - with six Grand National Champion Stallions, six Grand National Champion Mares, etc. In 1973, these shows became the Regional Shows and one Grand National was established. The first and second years the show was held in Detroit, Michigan. In 1975 the show moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where it has continued since then.

The Museum display features the covers of all the Show Programs plus pictures and valuable donated artifacts.
